Filmmaker Andrea Torrice traveled to Italy to take part in the International premiere of Trees in Trouble in Mantova, Italy. The film was the only American film selected to show at the International Film Festival of the Urban Forest, happening from November 26 – 30.
Trees in Trouble will show on Monday, November 26th, at 9 p.m. at the Mignon Theater in Mantova.
Trees in Trouble will also be part of the Festival Awards Ceremony on Friday, November 30th, at 9 p.m. at the Mignon Theater in Mantova.
This event is part of the first World Forum on Urban Forests conference sponsored by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Municipality of Mantova, the Italian Society of Silviculture and Forest Ecology (SISEF) and the Politecnico di Milano.
The 1st World Forum on Urban Forests will bring together representatives of national and local governments, research and academic institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), urban planners, urban foresters, arborists, landscape architects and designers and professionals from many other to discuss possible long-term collaboration on the development of urban forestry strategies to create more resilient green infrastructure, and mitigate climate change.
