An enthusiastic and diverse crowd attended the Cincinnati premiere screening of The Lincoln School Story at the National Underground Railroad Museum on Tuesday, July 25th.
It was followed by a lively panel discussion with filmmaker Andrea Torrice, Kati Burwinkel of the Highland County Historical Museum, and people from the film, Joyce Kittrell and Eleanor Cumberland. When an audience member asked what was the most surprising aspect of making the film Joyce replied, “Many young people today do not realize what we went through to get an equal education.”
