Filming In Progress for Abstract Expressionist Women Exhibition

Torrice Media is busy producing a new video commissioned by the Denver Art Museum about women of the Abstract Expressionist era. The video will appear in the upcoming show at the Denver Art Museum opening in the summer of 2016.

While many are familiar with abstract expressionist painters such as Jackson Pollack and Bill DeKooning, few have heard of the women who were also part of the abstract expressionism movement in the United States. The video will accompany the exhibition and feature several of the women including Mary Abbott, Judith Godwin, Grace Hardigan and Joan Mitchell.
