Take Root Sneak Peak opens the Great Tree Summit Conference

Over 400 citizens met at the Great Tree Summit Conference to discuss ways to preserve the Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky region’s urban forest from the threats of pests and climate change in late February at the Cincinnati Zoo.

Torrice media presented a short five minute work in progress of the upcoming Take Root documentary film at the conference.  The full film is expected to be completed in Fall 2015, and already the Taking Root reforestation Campaign is planning on using it as a community outreach and educational tool.
